Locked keys in the car at Treasure Coast Square, in the Publix lot off Tradition Parkway, or in your own driveway. We pop most domestic and Japanese vehicles in 3-8 minutes. No drilling, no broken window, no tow.
Car lockout in Port St. Lucie - we come to your vehicle and unlock the door non-destructively. Most domestic and Japanese vehicles open in 3-8 minutes. Average dispatch time: 18 minutes inside PSL city limits.
Pricing: $65-95 for most makes, $95-145 for European / luxury / tighter-tolerance vehicles. After-hours (10 PM - 6 AM) adds ~$30.
If you've also lost the keys, we can cut and program replacement keys on-site - no need to tow.
You set the Publix bag on the back seat, hit the button without thinking, and watched the door lock itself with the fob still on the console. Now you're standing in the lot off US-1, the dog's in the back, and Florida's doing 91 degrees with the sun straight overhead.
This is the most common call we run. A mobile van with the right wedge and a long-reach tool gets a door open in five to ten minutes without scratching the paint or popping the weather strip. Most PSL lockouts land between $65 and $125 depending on time of day and how far inside the rim your truck sits.
Don't pay a tow truck driver to break your window. Call (772) 284-5142 and a van rolls now.
Average PSL lockout response under 20 minutes. Tradition Square, Village at PGA Verano, Publix lots on Crosstown - all inner-ring fast.
The proper tools for modern frameless windows and Ford F-150 / RAM 1500 TRX style door geometry. No coat-hanger Reddit videos.
We open the door without scratching the trim, denting the frame, or compromising the weather strip. Tow trucks break glass; we don't.
$65-125 for almost every PSL lockout. You hear the exact number before the van leaves. No fuel surcharge appears on the bill.
Child-locked-in or pet-locked-in jumps to the front of the queue. Tell the dispatcher and a van diverts immediately.
Tesla Model 3/Y frunk-only access, F-150 with the keypad failed, Hyundai with the dead 12V - we've opened all of them this month.
When you Google car lockout you get three categories: actual locksmiths, tow companies that will pry your door (and bill you for the resulting bent frame), and dispatch boards that hire whichever contractor bids lowest. The third one is who shows up in a Camry with a coat hanger.
Dedicated auto-tools on board. No improvisation. No 45-minute wait while the sub drives in from Stuart.
If we can't open it without damage we tell you before we try anything risky. Most jobs end with you driving away in ten minutes flat.
Slightly higher overnight rates, fully disclosed on the call. No 3x surge surprise on the invoice.
You're not talking to a Texas call center routing the job. The dispatcher knows where the Tradition entrance gate is.
Three tools, no broken windows, no scratched paint, no torn weatherstrip:
Air wedge + reach tool. Inflatable wedge gently spreads the door from the frame, long-reach tool slips in and pulls the unlock lever or pushes the unlock button. Standard for most domestic and Japanese vehicles. Open in 3-8 minutes.
Slim jim / lever-type tools. Older vehicles (pre-2000s) with vertical lock rods inside the door - slim jim slides between the window and weatherstrip and physically pulls the rod up. Still common on '70s-'90s GM, Ford, and Mopar trucks.
Lishi picks. Picks the door lock cylinder. Used when air wedge doesn't fit (some European cars with tight tolerances) or when the door has a manual cylinder and the goal is to open without leaving any trace. Takes 5-15 minutes.
The technique we use depends on the vehicle. The tech decides on arrival; you'll know the approach before they start.

Some vehicles take longer or require specialty tools:
BMW / Mercedes / Audi 2010+. Modern German doors have deadlock systems engaged when the alarm is set - even with the door unlocked from inside via the reach tool, the alarm-armed deadlock prevents the handle from working. Solution: pick the door lock cylinder with a Lishi tool. Takes 10-15 minutes, $95-145.
Tesla. No physical door handle inside that can be reached. If the key card or phone is also locked in (common), we work the frunk release through the front bumper to get to the 12V battery, jumper it, and use the emergency hatch release. $145-220.
Newer Ford / GM with door edge protectors. Tight door-frame tolerances make air wedge unreliable. Lishi pick or manual key cylinder pick. $80-110.
Trunk-only lockouts. Most modern vehicles allow trunk access via the cabin (60/40 fold or seat-back release). For dedicated trunk-only lockouts where the cabin is locked AND the keys are in the trunk, we pick a door first, then access trunk from there. Same price as standard car lockout.
If the vehicle has been modified (aftermarket alarm, deadbolt installed by a previous owner, broken interior linkage from prior break-in attempt) the job can take longer. We tell you on-site if we hit something unexpected.

Real person on the phone in under 2 rings. Locksmith on-site in 15-30 minutes. Honest price before any tools come out.
Call (772) 284-5142Most domestic and Japanese vehicles: $65-95 during daytime hours. After-hours (10 PM - 6 AM) adds ~$30. European / luxury vehicles run $95-145 because the tighter door tolerances require Lishi picks instead of air wedge.
Yes - Florida law requires us to verify ownership before unlocking. We accept the registration (most people keep it in the glovebox or wallet), the title, or insurance card matching your name. If you can't produce any of those, we can still help but we'll need to coordinate with PSL Police or Sheriff's deputy to witness the unlock.
We unlock the door first (so you can search inside), and if it turns out the keys are truly lost (left at the beach, fell out of the Uber, etc.) we cut + program a replacement key on-site. Combined cost: $240-580 depending on whether it's basic transponder or smart key.
Generally no, not anymore. St. Lucie County Sheriff and PSL Police will respond to a CHILD or PET locked in a hot car (call 911 immediately for that - it's life-safety). For routine adult lockouts, departments stopped unlocking vehicles years ago because of liability concerns. They will sometimes wait with you for a locksmith if you feel unsafe.
Yes, 95%+ of the time. Air wedge + reach tool for most vehicles, Lishi pick for European and tight-tolerance cars. The exceptions are mostly very modern vehicles with deadlock systems engaged or older vehicles with broken interior door linkage from prior damage. We tell you on-site if your specific car is going to need a special approach.
For most addresses inside PSL city limits - 15 to 30 minutes from your call. St Lucie West and Tradition typically 12-25 minutes. Further out (Jensen Beach, Palm City, Port Salerno, Hutchinson Island), realistic window is 30-50 minutes. Whoever you talk to on the phone gives you the honest ETA.
Car lockout calls come from every parking lot in PSL - Treasure Coast Square, the Publix and Walmart lots, Tradition Field events, the dealerships along US-1, beach lots at Jensen Beach and Hutchinson Island. We've done plenty in private driveways across St Lucie West, Tradition, Magnolia Lakes, and Sandpiper Bay too.
